On the afternoon of December 19^th, 2022, the Management Board of Lang Son Geopark worked with Chi Lang High School on school projects in Lang Son Geopark in 2023. Attending and chairing the meeting was Mrs. Pham Thi Huong, Deputy Head of the Management Board of Lang Son Geopark, officials of the Management Board; Mrs. Ngo Thi Thuong, Vice Principal, teachers of Foreign Language Department and students of the English Club. At the meeting, Mrs. Pham Thi Huong summarized public awareness raising activities of the Management Board of Lang Son Geopark in 2022;  highly appreciated the companionship and positive contributions of Chi Lang High School in building and developing Lang Son Geopark. Representatives of the school's English club introduced ideas for projects in Lang Son Geopark in 2023 such as raising local people's awareness of the environment; action in Geopark environmental protection; contests about Geoparks; propaganda and promotion of Lang Son Geopark on social media; Lang Son Geopark Market; establishing a tour guide club and so on.

On the basis of the project proposals, the participants discussed and supported the idea to pilot Lang Son Geopark Sunday Market Model (open 9 a.m to 11 a.m) in Lang Son City as a model to raise public awareness of local products associated with stories about the land and people of Lang Son Geopark. Besides introducing local products, it also conveys the message of environmental protection, display tools and decorative designs are all made of materials which are close to people's daily life and environmentally friendly.

The above mentioned activity with high schools, secondary schools and primary schools in the Geopark area is in the framework of the plan of the Management Board of Lang Son Geopark to survey the status of heritage and tourist sites and working with relevant agencies and units in the Geopark area. The activity has received great attention and coordination of schools and agencies in Lang Son Geopark.
