Surveying and consultation on the formation of geotourism products in Lang Son Geopark area at Sinkhole 02 in Hoang Van Thu commune, Binh Gia district, Lang Son province, Vietnam
February 18 to 20, 2025, Lang Son Provincial Agency for Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion, Lang Son province, Viet Nam coordinated with the People's Committee of Binh Gia District and Vietnam Expeditions Joint Stock Company to conduct a survey and provide consultation on the formation of geotourism products in the Lang Son Geopark area (Sinkhole 02 - Ung Roac, Hoang Van Thu commune, Binh Gia district).
The purpose of the survey is to measure and map the Sinkhole of Lang Son Geopark in Binh Gia district to serve the construction of geotourism products - Sinkhole exploring and to strengthen communication and promotion of the of geoheritages in the Lang Son Geopark area.
Binh Gia district is located on Lang Son Geopark Tourism Route No. 02 with great potential for developing typical tourism products of the Geopark. Visitors will have a journey to learn about the first humans who appeared only about 500,000 years ago, living together with a diverse world of flora and fauna, including giant apes, saber-toothed elephants and many other species of tigers, leopards, foxes, civets... at the famous archaeological site of Tham Khuyen - Tham Hai Caves in the southwest of the Geopark.
Binh Gia district has a majestic natural geological and geomorphological terrain, with beautiful caves, waterfalls, and sinkholes, containing countless interesting and attractive things. This will be a resource to fuel the development of Geotourism (caving, sport climbing, paragliding, trekking, waterfall, sinkholes).
Binh Gia district has great potential to develop typical tourism products of a UNESCO Global Geopark. Coming to Binh Gia district, visitors will have mysterious and unique discovery journeys, with memorable experiences.
