On October 19, 2022, Lang Son Geopark Management Board held a meeting with KOTO Co., Ltd. Attending the meeting were Leaders and Officials of Lang Son Geopark Management Board; Representatives of Culture and Information Divisions of Bac Son, Binh Gia, Chi Lang, Huu Lung, Van Quan districts; Homestays - partners of Lang Son Geopark and Representatives of KOTO Co., Ltd.

At the meeting, the participants watched a Video Clip about Lang Son Geopark, KOTO Co., Ltd training activities in commercial cooking and hospitability. Lang Son Geopark Management Board briefly introduced Lang Son Geopark, the project of establishment, construction and development of Lang Son Geopark in the 2021-2025 period. KOTO Co., Ltd. briefed on the Company's activities, the Free Vocational Training Program for women and the 2-year Apprenticeship Scholarship for the youth. Trainees coming to KOTO are trained in cooking, service skills, restaurant and hotel management. KOTO also helps them with life skills, communication skills, learning foreign languages... With the motto "Know One, Teach One", KOTO has helped and changed the lives of more than a thousand street children, in difficult circumstances in Viet Nam.

The participants both sides actively exchanged and discussed the potential of cooperation in training to improve the quality of human resources in the fields of restaurants, hotels and homestays. The representatives of homestays in Bac Son and Huu Lung districts said that over the past time, all levels and sectors have paid attention to training to improve service skills, so the quality of human resources at some homestays has been improved. However, in general, the service staff at homestays are family members and homestays face a situation of "redundancy of human resources, lack of skilled service staff". At Quynh Son Community-based Cultural Tourism Village, Bac Son District and Huu Lien Commune Community-based Eco-Tourism Village, there are currently a number of candidates for the Free Vocational Training Program for Women and the 2-year Apprenticeship Scholarship for the youth.

The online meeting with KOTO Co., Ltd took place successfully. Lang Son Geopark Management Board will continue to make efforts to connect and attract resources for training to improve the quality of human resources in Lang Son Geopark in particular, for the construction and development of Lang Son Geopark in general.
