March 2, 2024 to March 7, 2024 (January 22 to 27, the Year of Dragon 2024), Lang Son Geopark Management Board participated in the exhibition within the framework of Lang Son Cultural and Tourism Space Exhibition activities taking place at the front yard of Four Points by Sheraton Lang Son Hotel, Hung Vuong Street, Chi Lang Ward, Lang Son city.

          The exhibition booth of Lang Son Geopark attracted a large number of tourists to visit and learn about fossil samples in the Geopark area such as plant and animal fossils in the Na Duong site and some typical soil and rock samples different geological periods in Lang Son (gymnosperm trunk fossils, crocodile dung fossils, trionychid turtle fossils dating to the Tertiary period, leaf fossils, molluscs, bivalves, Charcoal wood fossils, brown coal fossils, bauxite ore fossils, white quartz...); the history of life on earth and the Evolution of life in Lang Son Geopark; photos and publications on the construction and development of Lang Son Geopark.

Mr. Luu Ba Mac, Deputy Director of Lang Son Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Deputy Head of Lang Son Geopark Management Board visited the exhibition booth.

 Visitors showed their interest in learning about Lang Son Geopark area through  fossil samples.

          In addition, the Lang Son Geopark Management Board also organized a drawing and coloring contest for Heritage/Palaeontology of the Lang Son Geopark area & Beautiful photos "Lang Son Geopark Ambassador's Smile - Taken with Coloring Paintings/Hashtag of Geopark” and a competition about Lang Son Geopark for the community. The activity received the response of a large number of people, visitors and students. Especially, on the afternoon of March 7, 2024 (January 27, the Year of Dragon), 20 students Hoang Van Thu High School and Lang Son Provincial Ethnic Minority High School participated in the competition about Lang Son Geopark.

          Displaying, introducing and promoting the image of Lang Son Geopark is a practical activity in the province's series of activities to celebrate the establishment of Communist Party and the Year of the Dragon. The activity has contributed to enhancing the promotion and introduction of information and images about the typical features of Lang Son Geopark to a large number of people and tourists inside and outside the province. Thereby contributing to propaganda and education to raise community awareness about the Geopark area, building and developing Lang Son Geopark to meet the requirements of assigned tasks.
