February 14 to 17, 2023, Lang Son Geopark Management Board organized a delegation of Lang Son province including civil servants and officials advising on the construction and development of Lang Son Geopark Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Information Center for Tourism Promotion, Lang Son Geopark Management Board and Division of Culture and Information of Bac Son, Binh Gia, Chi Lang, Huu Lung, Loc Binh, Van Quan districts to Ha Giang province to learn experience in building and developing Geoparks.

The delegation of Lang Son province worked with Dong Van Karst  Plateau UNESCO Global Geopark Management Board, exchanging experiences in building routes, tours, product branding models bearing the Geopark Logo, Geopark information centers, completing the dossier to submit to UNESCO for recognition of a Global Geopark, learning experiences in propaganda, education, and raising public awareness about Geoparks; working with Visitor Centres  of  Quan Ba, Yen Minh, Dong Van, Meo Vac districts; visiting Memorial 468, Dong Van Geopark Museum, Pao's House (where the scene was filmed "Pao's Story"), heritage sites in Dong Van Karst Plateau UNESCO Global Geopark: Co Tien Twin Mountain (Quan Ba district), Moon rocks, Vuong Dynasty artistic architectural monument (Meo King Palace), space of Dong Van Old Town, Monument of Youth Volunteers, Nho Que River; surveying the model of Pa Vi community tourism village (Meo Vac district) and the Hmong traditional house, Ma Pi Leng Pass (connecting Dong Van district - Meo Vac district).

The business trip to Ha Giang province took place successfully, members of the delegation absorbed the valuable experiences of Dong Van Karst Plateau UNESCO Global Geopark Management Board in the construction and development of geoparks, completing the dossier to submit to UNESCO for recognition of a global Geopark, developing tourism, creating jobs, increasing people's income, thereby contributing to the sustainable development of Lang Son Geopark in particular, creating a driving force for the socio-economic development of Lang Son province in general.
