Online meeting with the Management Boards of Nature Reserve, Monuments and Tourism in Lang Son Geopark
On November 2, 2022, Lang Son Geopark Management Board held an online meeting with the Management Boards of Nature Reserve, Monuments and Tourism in Lang Son Geopark. Attending the meeting were Leaders and Officials of Lang Son Geopark Management Board, Representatives of Bac Son District Forest Protection Department, Huu Lien Special-use Forest Management Board, Quynh Son Community Tourism Village Management Board, Hung Vu Commune Historic Relics Management Board, Huu Lien Commune Community Tourism Village Management Board, Bac Le Temple Relics Management Board, Chi Lang District Culture, Sports and Media Center.
According to one of UNESCO’s criteria for recognition of a Global Geopark, “Geoparks must establish relations with the Management Boards of Nature Reserve, Monuments and Tourism in the Geopark area in order to propagate and promote natural heritage sites and monuments, tourism to all classes of people”.

At the meeting, the participants watched a Video Clip about Lang Son Geopark, Lang Son Geopark Management Board briefly introduced Lang Son Geopark, the project of establishing, constructing and developing Lang Son Geopark in the 2021-2025 period, UNESCO’s criteria for recognition of a Global Geopark related to conserving nature reserves, relics, tourism, potential for signing an Agreement on Cooperation with Management Boards, results of constructing and developing Lang Son Geopark in 2022.

Representatives of the Management Boards introduced the conservation and promotion of nature reserves, relic sites and tourism under the management of the unit. Participants at the meeting agreed to continue to keep in touch in the coming time, share photos and video clips about conservation areas, relics and tourism in Lang Son Geopark for joint promotion on social networking platforms such as Website, YouTube, Fanpage Facebook, Tiktok, Instagram and so on.
The online meeting program with the Management Boards of Nature Reserve, Monuments and Tourism in Lang Son Geopark took place successfully, contributing to improving mutual understanding, connecting and cooperating in promoting nature reserves, relics and tourism in Lang Son Geopark to domestic and international friends.
