On August 18, 2022, Lang Son Geopark Management Board held an online meeting to discuss training and fostering activities to raise public awareness about Geoheritage and Geoparks, building an information center and panels, signs explaining heritage and tourist spots in the Lang Son Geopark area. Attending the meeting were leaders and officials of Lang Son Geopark Management Board, Culture and Information Division of districts: Bac Son, Binh Gia, Chi Lang, Huu Lung, Van Quan, COLUMBUS VietnamBrand Joint Stock Company.

     At the meeting, Lang Son Geopark Management Board discussed the plan to organize a training course/retraining course to raise public awareness on Geoheritage and Geoparks, building an Information Center, panels, signs explaining heritage and tourist spots in the Lang Son Geopark area in 2023. The Board aims to organize training courses/retraining courses that combine theoretical and practical learning and field surveys at the sites in districts in order to create a stronger spillover and motivation for the development of Lang Son Geopark and ensure to meet a number of UNESCO’s criteria to recognize the Global Geopark "having a competent Management Board to run all activities of the Geopark, providing training programs for guides or tour operators working with the Management Board, officials, managers, local leaders actively and officially participating in training activities to improve the capacity and operation of the Geopark; local communities, indigenous people actively and officially joining the operation of the Geopark, representing in the management structure of the Geopark and the drafting, implementation of actions and Geopark project; having public information infrastructure such as information center, panels, signs in the Geopark area”.

     COLUMBUS Vietnam Brand Joint Stock Company introduced a demo of Lang Son Geopark Information Center/Gallery, samples of panels, signsheritage and tourist spots in the Lang Son Geopark area.

     At the meeting, the Management Board of Lang Son Geopark gathered training needs in 2023 the districts in Lang Son Geopark; receiving comments participants on the construction plan of Lang Son Geopark Information Center; stakeholders agreed to continue coordinating to review and advise on building the synchronous system of panels and signs explaining heritage and tourist spots in Lang Son Geopark.
