Lang Son Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism is going to organize a scientific workshop on solutions to preserve and promote the of intangible cultural heritages associated with sustainable tourism development in Lang Son Geopark within the framework of the provincial-level scientific research"Researching, conserving and promoting some types of intangible cultural heritages in Lang Son Geopark" with the time, venue and participants as follows:
1. Time:one session in the last week of October 2022.
2. Venue:in Lang Son city.
3. Participants (expected):
- Representatives of central agencies;
- Mr. Nguyen Phuc Ha, Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Chairman of the Research, chairing the Workshop;
- Representative of the Provincial People's Committee;
- Representatives of departments, agencies, mass organizations, socio-professional organizations in the province;
- Representatives of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and divisions and units under the Department;
- Representatives of the People's Committees, Culture and Information Divisions of Bac Son, Binh Gia, Chi Lang and Huu Lung, Van Quandistricts;
- Representative of Lang Son Tourism Association;
- Central and local scientists, researchers in the field of history and culture;
- Artisans and cultural subjects in Lang Son Geopark;
- Central and local news agencies and press.
4. Content
Exchanging and discussing to propose viewpoints, goals, directions, tasks and strategic solutions in the conservation and promotion of intangible cultural heritage in Lang Son Geopark in association with sustainable tourismdevelopment, created livelihoods, improved living standardsand people's raisedincomes. In addition to supplementing the source of documentsabout the value of Lang Son Geopark, contributing to completing the Dossier to submit to UNESCO for recognition of a Global Geopark.
