Students from both sides actively discussed what they were learning about geoparks at school (in class, geopark projects...) and what they want to do research regarding geoparks. The question and answer session was lively, open, and friendly, covering topics such as daily life, school, traditional food or culture, geoparks... They also shared their thoughts on the session. This international exchange activity has contributed to educating the young generation of Lang Son Province about the local area, the country, and the world, to become global citizens, future diplomats, and high-quality human resources for the province and the country. It also meets the criteria for UNESCO Global Geopark recognition: active participation of the local community and indigenous people in geopark activities, representation in geopark management structures, and involvement in geopark project development and implementation.
