On October 6, 2022, Lang Son Geopark Management Board coordinated with the People's Committees of Bac Son, Binh Gia, Chi Lang, Huu Lung, and Van Quan districts to organize an online exchange in English in response to national and international celebrations. Attending the exchange were Leaders and Officials of Lang Son Geopark Management Board; representatives of the Advisory Group for the construction and development of Lang Son Geopark and the youth group of Bac Son, Binh Gia, Chi Lang, Huu Lung, and Van Quan districts. This is an activity within the framework of the joint program to deploy propaganda and education activities about Geoparks in the 2022 - 2025 period between Lang Son Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the People's Committees of districts in Lang Son Geopark.

During the exchange program, participants watched a Video Clip about an overview of Lang Son Geopark. The youth groups participated in answering 50 multiple-choice questions in response to "Celebrating 191^th Anniversary of founding Lang Son province (November 4, 1831 - November 4, 2022)", "Celebrating 113^th Birthday of Mr. Hoang Van Thu (November 4, 1909 - November 4, 2022)", World Science Day for Peace and Development (November 10), International Mountain Day (December 11) on the the Kahoot software application. As a result, three youth groups of Huu Lung district achieved the highest results and won prizes the Organizing Committee.

In addition, representatives of youth groups in Lang Son Geopark presented Posters or Video Clips introducing the cave system, local mountain landscape, Vietnamese-English Posters about Do's and Don'ts in caves or mountains in Lang Son Geopark. Posters, Video Clips are going to be posted on the website of Lang Son Geopark Management Board and on the Facebook Fanpage "Lang Son Geopark" within a period of 60 days, Posters or Video Clips with the highest rate of interactions and likes, share, comments will be rewarded).

Online exchange in English is an opportunity for the young generation in Lang Son Geopark to be proud of the patriotic tradition, solidarity and resilient revolutionary spirit in predecessors’ struggle for national liberation and homeland construction, improving knowledge about international celebrations, practicing English language skills, boosting international integration capacity. At the same time, it helps meet UNESCO’s criteria for recognition of a Global Geopark “Local communities, indigenous people actively and officially participate in the operation of the Geopark, representing in the management structure of the Geopark and participating in the drafting and implementation of Geopark actions and projects to protect landscapes in which they live and preserve their cultural identity, pride in their communities, habitats and communities; Geoparks transfer knowledge, practices and management systems to the younger generation”.
