The Management Board of Lang Son Geopark worked with Huu Le Semi-Boarding Ethnic Primary School on school projects in Lang Son Geopark in 2023
On the afternoon of December 29th, 2022, the Management Board of Lang Son Geopark worked with Huu Le Semi-Boarding Primary Ethnic School on school projects in Lang Son Geopark in 2023. Attending and chairing the meeting was Mrs. Pham Thi Huong, Deputy Head of the Management Board of Lang Son Geopark; officials of the Management Board; Mrs. Trieu Thi Huong, Principal of Huu Le Semi-Boarding Primary Ethnic School; representatives of teachers; students who won prizes at the Contest about Geo-Heritage and Lang Son Geopark in 2022.

At the meeting, Mrs. Pham Thi Huong summarized the results of public awareness raising activities, especially for the young generation about Geo-Heritage, Lang Son Geopark and UNESCO Global Geoparks. She highly appreciated the efforts of Huu Le Semi-Boarding Primary Ethnic School at the Contest; thereby contributing to building and developing Lang Son Geopark towards being recognized as a UNESCO Global Geopark.
Le Gia Tue - a student of class 4B represented the school's students to introduce the idea of a community project for Lang Son Geopark in 2023 such as building a Geoheritage and Geopark Exhibition Space at the school to propaganda and promote the image and local tourism potentials. At the same time, giving opportunities to guests to the school and also helping teachers, students and students’ parents to get more information, understand the meaning and importance of the Geo-Heritage and Lang Son Geopark.

On the basis of the project proposals, the participants discussed and agreed to support the Model of building the Geo-Heritage and Lang Son Geopark Exhibition Space at the school with miniature models such as houses on stilts, local wine making tools, Đàn Tính, the rice-hulling mill, the handloom, tools for folk games, pictures and information boards of the districts in Lang Son Geopark. The school is going to organize contests to design products, stories, poems about Lang Son Geopark to use at the exhibition space. Every month, the school will send to the Management Board of Lang Son Geopark a 3-5 minute Video Clip in Tay, Vietnamese, English which record activity of school students acting as tour guides introducing about Lang Son Geopark. The video will be posted on the Fanpage "Lang Son Geopark".

The working session with Huu Le Semi-Boarding Primary Ethnic School, Van Quan district on school projects in Lang Son Geopark in 2023 with the model of Geoheritage and Geopark Exhibition Space was successful, contributing to building and developing Lang Son Geopark to meet the criteria and requirements of UNESCO in recognition of the Global Geopark./.
