Surveying to establish practice routes in Lang Son Geopark area for students majoring in Geotourism
On November 23-24, 2024, the Center for Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion coordinated with the University of Mining and Geology to conduct a survey and evaluate the potential for building a practice route in the Lang Son Geopark area for students majoring in Geotourism. Participating in the survey team were leaders and officials of the Lang Son Geopark Management Division, the Center for Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion; leaders, lecturers and students of the Faculty of Geological Science and Engineering, University of Mining and Geology; on-site tourguides; reporters Lang Son Newspaper, Lang Son Radio and Television.
The mission surveyed some sites on Route 1 "Experience the Realm of Mountain and Forest" (Chi Lang Pass, Chi Lang District, Son Thuy Homestay, Dong Lam Magic Valley, Quiet Ancient Ocean, Bac Le Temple, Huu Lung District), Route 2 "Journey to the Realm of Heaven" (Rock Chaos, Van Quan District, Lang Son Geopark Information Center, Na Lay Peak, Bac Son District), Route 3 "Ẹnoy the Realm of Earth" (Yin-Yang Tile Village, Tay Cultural Village, Bac Son District) and Route 4 "Way to the Realm of Water" (Na Duong Lake Lifetime Window, Loc Binh District, Tam Thanh Pagoda, Lang Son City).

At each site, the members of the mission listened to the tour guide introducing cultural, geological and landscape values; experienced the yin-yang tile making profession, cuisine and exchanged performances with the Music Team of Quynh Son Community Cultural Tourism Village (Bac Quynh Commune, Bac Son District).
The survey trip was a great success, assessing the potential, researching and including the routes and tourist destinations of Lang Son Geopark in the curriculum, designing and organizing field practice in the Lang Son Geopark area for students majoring in Geotourism at the University of Mining and Geology. Thereby contributing to promoting Lang Son Geopark and creating a space for students to experience and practice.
