On the morning of July 18th, the Management Board of Lang Son Geopark organized a meeting to promote cooperation, publicize and develop tourism and tourism services in the Lang Son Geopark area. The meeting was attended by leaders and officials of Lang Son Geopark Management Board and representatives of hotels, restaurants and tourism service businesses in Lang Son province.

Overview of the Meeting

          During the working program, the Deputy Head of the Lang Son Geopark Management Board gave an introduction of the process of building and developing Lang Son Geopark, 38 tourist destinations on four routes within the Geopark area; proposed cooperative initiatives to promote Lang Son Geopark and the heritage value of 38 sites on the four tourist routes to local and international visitors, as well as cooperation in the development of tourism and tourism services in Lang Son Geopark area and Lang Son province in general.

          At the meeting, the delegates analyzed the advantages and limitations in developing tourism in the Geopark area and discussed the potential for cooperation in promoting the Geopark and the established tourist routes. They emphasized the importance of raising awareness among tourism business units and explored pilot cooperation activities to bring tourists to visit Geopark routes and sites in Lang Son city.

          The meeting with representatives of hotels, restaurants, and tourism service businesses in Lang Son province contributed to connecting the Lang Son Geopark Management Board with relevant business units. This promoted the publicity of the Lang Son Geopark, creating widespread appeal and attraction for a large number of friends, locals, and international tourists to the Geopark, thereby contributing to the development of tourism particularly in Lang Son Geopark area and generally in Lang Son province.
