Organizing the Workshop "Typical Food and products of Lang Son Geopark & Lang Son city’s customers, consumers"
On March 28, 2023, Lang Son Geopark Management Board coordinated with the Advisory Team on constructing and developing Lang Son Geopark and Culture and Information Divisions of districts in the Lang Son Geopark region; some restaurants, supermarkets, agricultural shops, tour operators in Lang Son city and districts in Lang Son Geopark to organize the Workshop " Typical Food and products of Lang Son Geopark & Lang Son city’s customers, consumers".
The Workshop attracted more than 60 participants with 11 presentations and a vivid visual introduction of the businesses, restaurants, households providing services on typical local specialties and agricultural products in the geopark such as Golden chicken, Van Linh dry noodles (Chi Lang district); Cho Bai dry noodles, wormwood cake, roasted pig (Van Quan district); fermented spring rolls, Bat Do bamboo shoots (Huu Lung district); Black sticky rice cake, Mac mat dried ham (Bac Son district); sausages, Khau nhuc (Binh Gia district) ... At the same time, some culinary experts, representatives of tourism businesses introduced ideas on decoration and application of cultural heritages, specialty products and typical agricultural products in Lang Son Geopark according to space, themes and events; experience in trading agricultural products, business cooperation activities, building chains of agricultural products... Thereby creating potentials, strengths, opportunities for cooperation and development in the construction of Lang Son Geopark.

Following the workshop, Lang Son Geopark Management Board plans to organize a FOOD TOUR (culinary tour) to explore the geopark. there, it will help continue to connect producers with restaurants, supermarkets, shops selling agricultural products to consume typical products in the geopark in the coming time.
The Workshop contributes to promoting and connecting markets for typical cuisine and products in Lang Son Geopark; creating a network connecting stakeholders in the construction and development of Lang Son Geopark. Thereby, it will help meet some of UNESCO's criteria and requirements in global geopark recognition.
