Công tác giáo dục, tuyên truyền nhằm góp phần nâng cao nhận thức của cán bộ, học sinh, sinh viên và cộng đồng nhân dân địa phương trong vùng CVĐC là một trong những hoạt động hết sức quan trọng.

Education and propaganda efforts aimed at enhancing awareness among officials, students, pupils, and local communities in the Geopark area are among the most crucial activities.

Since its establishment in December 2021, the Management Board of Lang Son Geopark has conducted numerous online propaganda and education campaigns (due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic) targeting students in secondary schools, high schools, and assisting groups in advising on the construction and development of Lang Son Geopark, as well as collaborating with representatives of communities and villages within the Geopark area. These campaigns covered various topics, including the principles and significance of establishing, constructing, and developing Lang Son Geopark; the roles, positions, importance, and significance of geological, cultural, and biological heritage, as well as environmental protection within Lang Son Geopark; introducing the UNESCO Global Geoparks, the Global Geoparks Network, the Asia-Pacific Geoparks Network, and the Vietnam Geoparks Network; providing information on the 12 important tasks outlined in the Project for the establishment, construction, and development of Lang Son Geopark in the 2021-2025 period; and the implementation plan for the construction and development tasks of Lang Son Geopark in 2022.

In addition, the Management Board of Lang Son Geopark also organizes awareness-raising activities on an overview of the United Nations' 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, the National Action Plan for implementing the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs); World Water Day on March 22, 2022; International Day for Biological Diversity (IDB) on May 22, 2022; World Environment Day on June 5, 2022; and Vietnam's Traditional Tourism Day on July 9, 2022... These educational and propaganda activities have contributed to raising awareness about the Geopark, promoting the protection of geological, cultural heritage, biodiversity, and environmental conservation within the Lang Son Geopark area, towards achieving the goal of UNESCO recognition of Lang Son Geopark as a Global Geopark.
