On January 18, 2023, the  Lang Son Geopark Management Board  had a meeting with the  Culture and Information Division of Huu Lung District, the People's Committees of Huu Lien, Yen Thinh, Huu Lung district and Lang Son Geopark partner homestays about the plan to organize a basic English Class.

At the meeting, Mrs. Pham Thi Huong overviewed the implementation situation and achieved results in public awareness raising activities about geological heritage, Lang Son Geopark and  UNESCO global Geopark, environmental sanitation in Lang Son Geopark, quality of human resources to meet construction and development of Lang Son Geopark towards being recognized as a UNESCO Global Geopark; approved the Draft Plan to organize a short-term basic English class for Lang Son Geopark Management Board officials and Lang Son Geopark partner homestays.

Representatives of the Culture and Information Division of Huu Lung District and the People's Committees of Huu Lien and Yen Thinh Communes, representatives of community tourism business households, informed about the status of English communication ability with international tourists in the locality and expressed desire to participate in training courses to improve knowledge and communication skills in English.

At the end of the working session, the participants and community tourism business households agreed on the time and location of the training course; 100% representatives of business households agreed to participate in the Basic English Class for homestays in the area.
